128 players in R1 of the women's doubles. No Brits. But then with Heather highest ranked at WR 120 no surprise in that.

Jonny and Arevalo seem a decent pairing from these early events together.

Luke, Cam, Joe, Ken, Jamie/Neal all on schedule for Thursday, lets hope they can join Jonny in Round 2 (one of Joe and Cam clearly will)

I see Krawietz & Mies, the third seeds, have bitten the dust already, beaten in straight sets by Bublik & Kuku!

Another prime example of the Beeb's failure to check its facts in the report on the doubles at the bottom of this page.  I had no idea Qureshi had switched his allegiance from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia!  disbelief

But Joe and Rajeev still won comfortably in 2 sets against Dan and JP.

Luke lost in 2 tight sets, also.

Ken currently playing but down a set, Jamie and Neal to come.

So far just Jonny and Joe's pairings into 2nd round.

Phew, so Joe + , Jonny + , and Ken + into the 2nd round, with Jamie and Neal held over now until tomorrow. Joe and Ken both gain a couple of slots in the live rankings, but most of those still in are around them ranking wise

Joe and Rajeev play Sandgren and Withrow in Round 2. Jonny and Arevalo have Melzer and Roger-Vasellin.

You'd hope Joe and Rajeev could win that match, Jonny and Arevalo have a tough one there to be frank
