Boys & Girls: JA Plantation Orange Bowl, USA, clay (Week 50)

Felix Gill, Arthur Fery and Toby Samuel are direct acceptances for the prestigious Orange Bowl, with the main draw, starting tomorrow, out later today.  In qualifying Amelia Bissett lost in round 1 and Daniel Webb in round 2 but Mathis Ross is currently on court playing his final qualifier (5-5 in the first set)  Scores are available at  http://orangebowltennis.smtinternetservices.com/     There is also an under 16 event, but I haven't spotted any British entries (the under 12/under 14 events are next week)

Mathis has the toughest assignment in round 2 against the JWR 15 who beat our Arthur en route to the final of the recent Grade A in Mexico. However all matches appear to have been cancelled today.

Boys R2

(Q) Maxwell McKennon (USA) v (13) Felix Gill
(5) Arthur Cazaux (FRA) v (LL) Mathis Ross
(8) Arthur Fery v (WC) Alex Finkelstein (USA)
