Goodness, young Max is on a run - as David says, his opponent is higher calibre, and won his last Grade 2, but it didn't him much good - Max Basing gave him a maximum bashing and won 6-3 6-3

Wins (just) for Harry, too, as well as Eva (over a top-100 player) and Marni - so good day ! :smile

Eva lost in two bagels, but it's been a very good week for her.

She's only 2005-born, and only have 5 counters (although she's played more events, just lost in R1 of several). So this is good new points, and good new experience.

Marni won which will be net additional points for her and will see her climbing up the top 100.

The JE slots in 15ks will presumably be an appeal for next year (as well as standard junior event seedings etc).

And a win for Harry, who's a very young 2001-er, but still only has a few weeks left as a junior so nice to finish well, if poss.

QF

(2) Amarni Banks def. (12) Annabelle Xu (CAN) 6-3 6-4

Eva Shaw lost to Sebastianna Scilipoti (SUI) 0-6 0-6

QF

(4) Harry Wendelken def. Pierre Yves Bailly (BEL) 6-2 6-0

2 RU spots at J2 will certainly boost Marni in the rankings - 5 to 10 places.
