Well, weve hit 7 wins now with 3 doubles yesterday.

And that already takes out 4/23 voters smile

I make that 9 now and counting,

Beginning to hope that my 12 is an underestimate.

And 38% of our voters had 9 or less. I also hope my 10 gets smashed, it is looking quite promising so far !

Ken+ a set up and 5-5 against Kyrgios and Copil.

Edit

Got broken. One set all.

joe has won his mixed doubles, so 1 more makes 10!

My 17 is looking more possible!

Yes, I'm thinking that the 16 and 17ers are looking pretty good.

Hope though that we all underestimate it.

Dan and Cam win, making it 11, that's 5/7 for men's doubles 1st round wins.

Neill warming up now.

Well, 11 takes me out and glad to see it. With 5 mens pairs in round 2, we may still go higher, must say mens doubles performance has been a relief after a bad month or two on hardcourts and also on grass

Well 11/23 out now, nearly half already... And Mirambee, Indy and myself as the optimistic 3, getting nearer now

And yes really, 17 should be one of the modest estimates... says a lot about GB form leading into the week. But it will still need one or two of the doubles players to go deeper to get to this.

As per the first post, in previous recent overseas slams our high was Australia this year at 18, but past two us opens have been 12 and 13. Before that we had reached early 20s . So 17 if reached would be actually quite decent in relative terms.

Seems the doubles guys/men are the key to all this and their form does seem to have lifted, at least on first match evidence

I'm please to say my semi-pessimistic 11 is already reached - I'm expecting a few more on current form.
