There are two Grade 1 events before the US Open, one in the US and one in Canada. Arthur Fery and Harry Wendelken are in the US Open qualifying draw, and have been joined here by 3 other Brits
I'm a fan of Arthur, of course, too, and Harry and Oscar have lots of qualities to like. But Sam is not one of the favoured few, as far as I can tell, but has a lot of talent.
An encouraging clean sweep. Top two seeds up next for Oscar and Matthis - both top 30, but unusually there are no top 20 players here

NB Slightly surprising that Blu Baker, who's entered for the US Open juniors, is choosing not to play here but to play the G3 in Mexico instead. It's hard court, the same, so no real difference I guess. But he's obviously choosing to play down, it's not the first time he's done so, it's presumably a coaching decision.

I think they went inside to complete Harry's match because of rain, and he just lost out on a maiden final. Doubles later for Harry, but Arthur cruises in the other semi to his first Grade 1 final
