Very well done to 2003-born Jamie Forrest (completely new name to me) who qualified, won a match and now put out the 10th seed, with only the loss of 2 games.
Pleased for him because he played qualis last week - his first ever ITF match - and lost 15-13 in the MTB, which must have hurt.

It certainly shows what a MD Grand Slam wildcard can do.
Diane, born the same year as Emma, had an excellent Roland Garros - (MD win and two doubles wins). And have been doing very well since - beat a top 250 player etc.
And she too has had important exams this summer - she's doing the Bac Scientifique (top-level, proper Bac, not one of the 'easy' versions) and had her first round of Bac exams this summer (in French and a couple of other subjects), before her really serious ones next year.
