Boys & Girls: 2019 European Junior Championships under 18, Klosters, Switzerland, clay, Grade B1 (Week 30)


As usual the under 18 European Championships are held in Klosters with most countries having two representatives. There is live streaming from two courts via https://www.tennisklosters.ch/turniere/ejcs/  and Arthur is up first on one of the streamed courts (8am BST) while Sonay is fourth on the other court.

Arthur gets us off to a good start with an easy win

A nice win for Sonay as well, against a higher ranked opponent, means 100% success so far across all three age categories (Lui still to play). Arthur is again on the number 1 streamed court tomorrow (third on)

Not to be for Felix either.....which leaves it all down to Sonay.

Sonay and Sasha lost out in doubles to a Swedish pair, so apart from Sonay's singles there is just the boys doubles (progressed with a w/o)

A star on the conveyor belt of Czech junior stars who should ensure that the country remains at the forefront of women's tennis for some years to come. She has a younger sister (Brenda) who some rate equally highly
