Victoria loses 3-6 3-6
Destinee's match is an odd one - 1 break of serve in set 1 then 9 in set 2

In related news, Joanna Garland got rather hammered by the French girl, Aubane Droguet, which is not a great result for Joanna.

Sonay was up a break in the second, got pegged back but Poulos fell away towards the end of the tiebreak, which Sonay won 7-3 to become the first Brit through

I got nervous watching that !

Sonay looked a little 'rabbit-in-the-headlight' towards the end of that set and then, as you say David, Poulos thankfully - for us - had a little collapse.

But I thought our girl deserved it overall.

Well done to her ! Thrilled. She's got things to work on, and is also pretty short for top tennis players, but there's a lot to like about her game. I've always been a fan.

Eden Richardson has the first set - allez, Eden!

Add: this should be Erin ..... sorry ! It was Eden Silva s fault, I blame her ! :)

No - the question has been asked before and refuted by a relative of Erin's

Sorry ! It was with Eden Silva having just won.....ooops......And, no, they're not related (the two Richardsons, not Eden Silva either to the best of my knowledge!)
