The second grass grade 1 is the traditional Roehampton warm-up with qualifying starting tomorrow at Surbiton. Anton Matusevich and Harry Wendelken are the only Direct Acceptances. The qualifying draw is at https://www.itftennis.com/juniors/tournaments/tournament/info.aspx?tournamentid=1100044606
Ali Habib was the only British winner in the first round of qualifying. The top 10 ranked Brits outside the DAs were not involved (plus Connor Thomson in the doubles final). Jack PJ will have a Special Exempt (along with an American) and there should be 8 wildcards, but it looks as if 2 must have withdrawn.
Ali missed out in final qualifying and I made a mistake about Jack, as he was only an alternate, and therefore not eligible for an SE. He hasn't received one of the 8 wildcards, so misses out along with Lui Maxted (who may be injured, as he and Derrick Chen pulled out of the Nottingham doubles, and Derrick was in qualifying here) and Joseph White
