Sigh I went 38+, seems like I was waaay too optimistic. Hopefully next year

If only everyone else went for 38+ like we did, we would have made it. The power of positive thinking is very underrated. wink

very true Bob and whilst you were there the Brazil football team won Copa America against Peru, helped by the power of 200 million Brazilian fans!

Very loud Brazilian fans, I can tell you.

They could be in business. Andy & Serena have made it 25.

Though my 31 lives for another day  smile

And we are still on 25 and now with Evan and Eden are last standing players in Wimbledon 2019, hats off to them.

Means we can max out now at 28 and lets be honest, no one expects that, although you never know!

And so 25 is the final tally. 2 people voted for that, well done to them, overall 25 wins compares poorly with past recent history, disappointing really.

Until next year !

Yes. But that should (in my view) be seen in the context of it being the joint highest number of singles victories since (can't remember the date but a long time ago)

Got it right again after doing so at AO as well. Seems like I'm being pessimistic looking at other votes.

OK. I concede that 15 was maybe a little pessimistic.

It just remains to be seen if your pessimistic was more pessimistic than my optimistic or whether my optimistic was more optimistic than your pessimistic, if you get what I mean  wink

Well, 15 is nearer to 25 than 38 is!

Very poor altogether. But the tally was let down not so much in the singles disciplines than in the doubles where we had no-one go through to the SF and beyond in the men's and mixed doubles as we have in recent years.
