LTA site shows schedule time for the bottom half but not the top. Is there any possibility of them accepting 3 QWCs from the playoffs?
Not as things stand since it's a full house for QWCs.
So unless one of them drops out or is upgraded to a MD WC.
But yes, most folk saw this coming re Brydan vs Ryan.
It is plausible that the WC Committee has upgraded Nicolas Mahut to an MDWC in light of his win over Stan W yesterday. If they did then the normal process with 3 WCs from the play-offs is that the third goes to the highest ranked loser in the final play-offs - which would mean both Brydan and Ryan getting QWCs (and possibly no requirement to play the match, given the lower ranking of the two involved in the other match). However I have no evidence whether or not they have upgraded Mahut.
Ali Gray lost 4-6 in the third to Mark Whitehouse, maybe partly due to the ultra long match against Lloyd previously, or maybe just because Mark is a deceptively good player when it's firing.
Alistair will be back, he's played some excellent tennis, and still only 20 or so.
Easy win for Ryan though, over Brydan.
So it's UK uni and US college going through to Wimbly QR1

Thanks - the LTA has corrected the scores, so I have updated my earlier post with the exact score
