Poor first set from Gabi, only won 8 points and never past 30. 0-6. She does have a game point though at the start of the second.

And no sooner as Harriet completed here great comeback in set 1, at the same time, Gabi has recovered from *2-4 to take the second set 6-4.

Given she's not played since the start of May, and even then, her last 2 matches were retirements, plus that first set, I was expecting something like 0-6 1-2* RET. So it's great that she's not only competing well, but has actually taken it into a decider. Naomi await the winner, so it was be superb if she could complete the comeback.

Gabi has been a break down for the vast majority of the decider, but she's just broken back when Tomova was serving for the match. *5-5 30-15.

6-3* Gabi in the tie break. I was getting Vekic vibes from pretty much exactly a year ago at Nottm, but hopefully she can get over the line here.
