Pretty surprised if Dan plays here- though it looks like he will.
Played a lot of Tennis at Surbiton, and has entered dubs here too.
Will almost certainly b e playing next two weeks at Queens and Eastbourne which offer more potential for points (though tougher) before he goes to Wimby, and with weather forecast looking very tedious, I wouldn't have been at all surprised if he'd have pulled out.
Very glad if he doesn't though, and believe he has a great chance of following last week with another big week here.

That is a decent win! Lets keep them indoors!
Good stuff.
Be great if Ryan could get a MD win and move off his habitual last place in the ATP rankings. Currently 1 point from 19 counting event MD appearances ( it is a bit tough to score points in 25Ks in the current system ).
As per ladies, a lot of play has been cancelled for today, James Ward is the only Brit left on the main draw schedule but that is after a ladies match that is due to start at 4 pm.
Yay, I'd missed that the draw was Q vs Q ( although I now see that SC had pointed it out earlier ). That's a good GB vs GB draw just like Maia vs Tara.

L48: (Q) Ryan Peniston WR 681 vs (Q) Brydan Klein WR 354
The winner will play Bernard Tomic (2).
As Indi says, that is good news, both of them will take that draw I would imagine. I also imagine Klein would be v keen to play against Tomic, on grass, and fancy he could do a little damage. But I have to say, I hope Ryan gets the win and, as Indi said earlier, get off bargain basement level in the ATP list
In response to previous posts having been today and spent 5 and a half hours milling around in the rain before abandoning all hope....
1) saw Dan around the grounds with Hilts so presumably he does plan on playing
2) Brydan is indeed keen to play Tomic. Out of sympathy for the frustrated spectators (including me) the organisers brought Brydan into the marquee to do an interview and Brydan said he would like to have a pop at Tomic and that it would depend on which Tomic turned up!!!
They used to let you into the clubhouse, and put seats down for spectators when it was a combined ATP/ITF challenger, but when it went main tour they put security on the door.
