Troicki upped his game briefly to get one break back for 5-2*, but Dan hit a great passing shot off a poor drop volley, and then a superb lob. Troicki saved a set point, but then his serve deserted him again, so Dan took the set 6-2 and will serve first in the second set

Have to say I'm watching Nadal v thiem, standard is so high and Dan can manage happily without me!

Not quite so quick, a rather sloppy few points hands Troicki 3 BPs and though Dan saves 2, he doesn't the third. So back on serve 2nd set 3-2*
