Much as I like Dom, it would be hard to take if he comes top without winning a match at Wimbledon, so hope Joe can get the moral victory as well as the actual one! 56 individuals have won this season, 114 last year, Joe winning on Monday would take it to 50% of last years performance. Mmm

So the doubles is over and a rather sorry race it was - congrats I think , to Joe and Dom for being equal top but I am not sure our guys will be particularly proud of their efforts over the past 6 weeks or so.

I note that of our top 5, two are singles players.

And that all five are men.

Indeed, we didn't even get one women's doubles win at Wimbly, did we?

And yes, given all the huff we hear all the time from the LTA about how at least we're a powerhouse in doubles, it's certainly rather disappointing....

Just as an aside, and a nod to CD, if mixed results were added to this list, then Andy would have 7 wins, and Eden would have 4. Luke and Heather would also have 4, Jamie 3 and Evan would be on 3 and maybe more.

So Andy would be the overall doubles top winner, although Eden could get to 7, maybe...

Yes, with Andy performing so well here on his comeback from injury, and Dan as well, it rather just adds to Jaggy's thesis about failed singles players sadly...

Two years ago I didnt count mixed ... I think there was some discussion somewhere in this thread and I think I will count it in the doubles results this time
