If Dior is your thing, do watch the charming film Mrs Harris Goes to Paris with the wonderful Lesley Manville. Even I enjoyed that film ! Should be on streaming services somewhere , my wife and daughter took me to see it in Edinburgh around mid September
The shoes look a bit weird to me but as a 56 year old man I don't understand women's fashions for shoes.
However, I think the dress Emma is wearing looks gorgeous.

You don't need to be a 56 year old man to not understand shoe fashions!!!
Who cares? Is this a tennis forum or a fashion forum?
It's an Emma Radacanu thread. And if some folk want to discuss such occasions and pictures ( and shoes ) that have followed from her tennis success to me so be it. I know I will see some of this.
Plus undoubtably this sort of aspect of her last year has created much discussion, including the probably mote relevant one to some as to her tennis / sponsor occasions balance such as brought up in the BJK Cup Finals thread.
There is quite a chunky sole to those shoes so they aren't as bad as they 1st appear. Be interesting to know if she found them comfortable. I'm at an age where any heels have to be wedges so I'd be interested to know how stable these felt.
ETA And that photo is why she has sponsors chucking money at her. She's a stunning young woman

I thought the awarding the MBE to Emma may have been a little premature until I checked up today and found that following her 1968 US Open win Virginia Wade was awarded an MBE in 1969.
Agree with the first, disagree with the second & totally agree with the third. I've never worn anything much higher than about 2", would never consider even that now & have never understood the attraction of high heels/stilettos.
