Guess where Emma is on the list of highest paid female athletes in 2022? if she never wins another match shes made more this year than most people can dream of

I was surprised at the athlete topping the list!

I'd heard that she and Emma's multi cultural appeal was what had earned them the big bucks. Especially as the Asian market is very lucrative. Emma moreso with her international background and language ability.

Strange that earnings and performance don't appear to be linked in any comprehensible way.

It helps that they look the way they do, something that doesn't seem to affect the men as much.

The endorsements of the top three (all tennis players) could have provided 1,000 tennis players $100,000 each. Sport is bonkers.

Not just linked to sport hmm Theres a child influencer who opens presents on YouTube and has earned millions, whilst other children face wars and famine.

That surely isn't comparing like-for-like? Unless all those famine struck kids are also wannabe influencers on YouTube?

No, I was thinking more of a bigger picture of the whole world being bonkers.

 Ah. That is unarguably true.

In terms of the world being bonkers, does anyone on God's green earth think that the shoes that Emma wore to the huge Dior event at Harrods on Thursday 10th Nov, to turn on the lights, are even the faintest bit attractive? Or even safe???

Emma Raducanu was effortlessly elegant in a chic floral gown as she attended the Dior Christmas installation at Harrods in London today

 Great biggrin

I genuinely am happy that someone does and I'm completely missing it smile

The Kensington Palace dinner after the Harrods lights seems a real fashion aficionado's paradise - most rather dull and classic, though, for me - at least Emma's dress was a bit more eye-catching (as were the shoes, I guess biggrin
