RE: Davis Cup day 2: Murray/Rusedski v Zimonjic/Bozoljiac

Zimo serving first in the 3rd set, an early break perhaps

0-30 to us so maybe...

a fun point there, Murray raced into the net and got the volley but then had to sit on the floor or get hit (unsurprisingly Greg wasn't able to cover the whole court and the point was lost but a good laugh all the same.)

40-30 (Murray and Greg are both standing at the back for every return and then having to race in)

game to S&M

hard to tell, Greg looks better than Murray but Andy always looks exhausted from the first point onwards

I think Andy would struggle to go the distance physically, he looks drawn when you see his face, like someone recovering from an illness really! Greg looks better now than he did at this point in the match yesterday so that's hopeful.

GB won the game on an amazing backhand volley from Andy, right on the back line

30-0 on Bozo's serve

yep post delay very annoying, otherwise I'd post more!!

A wonderful lob from Greg unfortunately at 40-0 down but there we go, and the game is lost by Andy hitting a return into the net

(Commentators now reminishing about John Lloyd's Davis Cup experiences against USA!!)

GB up 40-0 on serve.

Lol, at the commentators reminiscing, reminds me of the TMS cricket coverage where sometimes they reminisce so much they forget to tell you what's actually happening on the field for about 10 min

in the last game we saw Murray's trademark lob, lovely to set up a break point, but they lost the game.

Greg serving, 15-15. (instead of a machine on the net that beeps they have a person sitting watching the net like a lines judge, I feel sorry for him, I'm be terrified being that close to the play!)

a double-fault gives 15-30 but an ue from S&M (didn't see which) gives 30-30.

Murray at the net, doing well but a net cord off Bozo results in the ball hitting him in the face. break point, which greg gives away with a forehand going too long, oh dear.

15-0 to Zimo.

40-15, bad news, momentum has suddenly shifted in the wrong direction. game S&M.

Murray to serve with new tennis balls to stay in the set.

15-15, the S&M pair look really happy and the Brits seem a bit demoralized which isn't helping them keep the crowd excited.

30-15.
40-15, Bozo is a weak volley-er and it is beginning to show. Andy wins the game with a great half-volley down the line.

Zimo to serve for the set (this guy has not had a service game without a break point yet so there's hope.)

0-15 (lucky bouce off the net)

15-15 Greg couldn't get the return back.

Murray keeps GB in the set with a good hold, Zimo produced an athletic volley winner but some good touches from Mu at the net seals the game.

3-5

Am amazed that they don't have Cyclops for this tie !!

second serve...

but Bozo found he could pull off a running volley 30-15

40-15, an unreturnable serve

set to S&M, I'm really not sure how this is going to go now. This was not the plan.

an interesting stat from the commentators is that 4/5 Davis Cup Matches are won by the team winning the doubles.

GB are going to have to win this in 5

The Serbs have taken set 3, 6-3

How's Murray reacting ?

Do you reckon they can do this ?
