This match has turned a bit. Maia did break on either her 5th or 6th BP to go *4-2 up, but it's now 4-5* and it looked like she pulled up on that last point.

I've not really seen many of her matches but does she always do that Kasatkina-like jumping backhand?

I'm not sure what happened there, but she did something to her knee/leg as she played her last shot... and didn't go after the return, but just held her leg. I thought maybe she had jarred her knee... is having it strapped up now... seems to be he whole lower leg strapped now
