Total aside - "Archibald Wright "Moonlight" Graham (November 12, 1876 August 25, 1965) was an American professional baseball player and medical doctor who appeared as a right fielder in a single major league game for the New York Giants on June 29, 1905. His story was popularized by Shoeless Joe, a novel by W. P. Kinsella, and the subsequent 1989 film Field of Dreams, starring Kevin Costner, and featuring Burt Lancaster and Frank Whaley, respectively, as older and younger incarnations of Graham."
For those who regularly post in this section, and I guess I'm primarily looking at CD, DavidC and one or two others, if you had to pick 5 or 6 GB female juniors between say 14 and 18 who aren't yet WTA ranked (to exclude the more obvious choice likes of Emma and Vic), who do you think would have the most chance of getting into, or near the top 100-150?
Obviously a lot can change, especially at 14/15, some with less junior pedigree can have better pro careers than those who produced better results, but if you had to pick a few to look out for (not necessarily those who you have a soft spot for, or style you like), who would you say?

Firstly, as an aside, if looking for unranked players who should most certainly be ranked or who will be ranked, we have a couple of college players who fit the bill. Eden Richardson is the most obvious candidate - she stood out as a junior as a very tidy, technically sound, athletic player, who had a of power. Emily Arb is obviously another. Lauryn John-Baptiste would probably be my third pick of those.
For the juniors, Matilda Mutavdzic has to be the most promising youngster we currently have. Never seen her play so she's not a soft spot one, but simply - on paper - she's a long way ahead of nearly all her contempories.
Holly Fischer was obviously also very highly touted but what with injuries and who knows what, things are still not quite clicking at the moment. But if she's fit, and wanting to play, her name would be there.
Marni Banks would be a name I'd put in. Along with Sonay Kartal. Holly Staff performed well the other week. Although top 150 is probably too ambitious for the last two ....There may well be some very promising prospects out there too who are too young/unknown. I've been following Jasmine Conway, who seems to stick out from the crowd. But she's very young ('04). Heard excellent things about Andrea Pineda too, and saw her as a 12 year-old.
And if you're going for a real youngster, put your money on Hephzibah Oluwadare.
Thanks, yeah I was thinking Matilda was probably the most promising one. Amelia or Millie is a name that seems to have been talked about for a while, but I wasn't sure if she had stalled.
Kylie Bilchev features on there a couple of times, on one occasion just with Emma, Holly and Amelia who have all been mentioned on these past 3 or 4 posts, is she another?
Millie Bissett was very good for her age a couple of years ago, but struggling to move forward in the rankings since.
I understand there are some very good players (boys and girls) at U12 and U14, but just the odd one in 14-16 range.
Millie is small for her age. Doesn't really stand out, in my view. Didn't a couple of years ago either. Although, on an absolute basis, she plays a very nice game.
Of the U12, Hephzibah is way far ahead of the others, in my view, in terns of potential.
And well done again to Jasmine Conway, born Dec. 2004 - zoomed into the top 500 last week, and up to 330 this, having won the title.
Our top 100 looks very skinny though. The 2001-ers are dropping out, which is fine, and Emma Rad is not focused on it (again, fine) but there doesn't seem to be any 2002-ers to pick up the slack. Marni is the closest. Indy Spink is missing in action. Our 2003 and 2004s seem rather more healthy but all the same....
There'll be a good chance for everyone in the next two weeks, though, with the home events.
