Yes when I had a brief look at rankings there were only a couple of players younger than Lui that were ahead of him.

I've never seen that name Sonay Kartal mentioned before, has she had a good recent run or something - thought I'd have recognised the name with her ranked relatively high.

Sonay's one of my pet faves, got an interesting game, lots of potential.

But she does seem injury prone - has difficulty getting a run going. I think a broken finger was her last thing....

Yes, let's hope that Sonay can realise much OF that potential.

Her Lithuanian Grade 2 singles title last week ( beat Erin Richardson in the final ) was a big boost up the rankings to that new CH 133.

Sonay is based on the South Coast and has not managed a full season for a while. I saw her play at the Wirral and when she is on it, she is unplayable. Very talented if she can stay fit.
