Nice to see Emma doing well at her local event. Not too many familiar name there, Summer Yardley possibly the most recognisable? I suppose Emily has played a few GB ITF events thi year.

It's rare to see anyone with an ITF ranking playing at British Tour events - unless there are exra goodies on offer. Most players are still juniors.

A little more information on the event at Sutton this coming week.

Note the huge entry list - both for the mens and womens, and the Grade 3 Junior event running alongside.

Top seeds going well so far

Beth has lost 9 games in three matches, Freya 7 games. Alicia had a real battle against Esther Adeshina winning 4-6 6-3 10-5, but has only lost 6 games in her last one-and-a-half matches.

So the crunch match this afternoon

Will be interesting to see how Alicia manages her SF this afternoon - she has THREE other matches already programmed today

Yes, Lissey is in the doubles with Freya - should easily get through those matches. And mixed doubles late this evening.

A Garland triumph, a cheeky subtle switch of nationality, and a WC into Roehampton. If Carlsberg did British Tour events...

Really? I just don't think they have any other flags on the LTA British Tour site.. Similarly for Lukosiute

Ah, sorry no, that was just my ideal scenario, as in those old 'if Carlsberg did' TV adverts, but can't see it happening in the near future.

Semi-finals postponed until 9am tomorrow - but both matches have just over 50 mins against them, so perhaps they played about a set ?
