RE: 2019 female prediction rankings

I will update the tables this week so you can all see how you are progressing.

Normally provide updates after Miami then the 4 slams and then one later on

Thanks Sim, first year of this, so wasn't aware of any procedural updates - I was just wondering if anyone thought they had someone way too high or way too low.

Just checked last years thread and saw you did your first update on April 10th, so yes, we should be able to get a better gauge then.

Naa, I may look to have some too high or too low but it's a long term plan  wink

But still be interesting to see how things stand.

Incidentally Ace, I see that we have the same 10 ( yes I left out Jodie too, perhaps not looking a great plan ). You must have copied the thoughts that I was having to later post after you  smile

There do generally seem to be a few optimistic scores around on the board, but there were so many who also left Jodie off their list, so I don't feel so bad now - had a check and she's actually 6th in the GB race and a good chance to add a further win tomorrow.

Still, I guess it really won't be until during / after the grass season where we'll have a better gauge, but it is still fun looking back and seeing what we all predicted at the time.

The worst part is reading that back and our conversation of the first page, I actually did have Jodie in my list until I doubted myself and you said still there was still time to change and went for Fran instead.  furious biggrin

Ha, I see the latest standings and while we are obviously close for the GB ranks score you are well up on me for the WR score. I've got 3 currently very close for that but little support just now.

You just need to catch old 'Status Quo' now.

HI Sim, I've just noticed that on my entries, (after all this time!, shows how much notice I took of your request!); you've allocated me 2 no 4s, and no number 2. I don't think it made a difference to the original count, but if Dart and Watson change places it would.

Looking at your predictions, I genuinely hope you do.

Yes my predictions were more in hope than actual belief. A mix of 50/50 in reality, made with the idea of winning meaning a successful year all round. Fairly confident Ill be within 5-10 spots of Heather and a few others. Points system for the tournament doesnt encourage my predictions. Could easily finish bottom with a few of those spot on.

Some of us dream of mid-table mediocrity.
