Toby Samuel, from Dorset/Hampshire, has won a G5 title, but never got to the final in a G4 before.
He says he trains 3-6 hours a day, 6 days a week. And has been playing for 10 years. That's a big investment....
He also had a stress fracture of his wrist early this year. And has taken his GCSEs a year early.
His older brother (age 17 or so) is a national level swimmer in the GB squad and his younger brother (about 11?) is a very good tennis player.
Felix Gill is, I believe, now more highly prized by the LTA and a player I quite rated after seeing him 12-18 months ago when he was not playing ITFs and barely ranked. (He was only 'spotted' a couple of years ago which allowed him to move up a gear).
He's made two G4 finals since then but never won a title (that I can see).
From Coventry, I think, he's home-schooled now so can devote more time to training.

Either way, best of luck to both of them.
So good to see Felix coming through. I love it when you see an unheralded, unranked player and think, that's interesting, and then - a couple of years later - there they are, playing top level.
Good luck to him in the G2 final today in Spain. (Already won the doubles final).
