Boys: Dunlop Srixon Japan Open Junior Tennis Championships, Japan, hard - Grade 2 (Week 43)

Blu Baker has stayed in Japan, and has sneaked into a seeding position. The down side of that is he is bracketed with the top seed (a finalist in the GA event, with a 56-8 W/L record this year), should they win their opening matches

R1 (L48)

(15) Blu Baker bye

Takahata got some revenge on Blu in the doubles. As expected Blu plays the top seed, JWR20, whose only loss in his last 3 tournaments was in the GA final

Great result against the Chinese lad who, as per David above, has been on a very good run.

As said before, I'm quite a fan of Blu - there's a lot in his tennis and physique to like.

Great stuff from Blu, whose results have become increasingly eyecatching - suggesting he could become another 2001 to make top 100 at least before long.
