1st win since in 6 tries dates back to 2016 for compson witch is nice for her
Also a Trasitional Tour point ???
Yes, it's an ITF ranking point.
Incidentally, the ITF will be using the brand ITF World Tennis Tour for junior circuit, transition tour and pro circuit with what was being referred to as the transition tour being ITF World Tennis Tour 15K, so we can continue to just call them 15Ks.
They are struggling to get any matches played here. Seem to have had rain for two days solid now, as tomorrow's draw, Tuesday, still has the FQR matches, including Choe's, as well as the start of the main draw matches. Alice Gillan, Anna P and Taro Keens are all in the MD.

Ah, it's Portugal. It has not been good for tennis players all year.

Portugal AND outdoor carpet. They need to change their surfaces.

Chloe just lost her FQR eventually in 3 sets. She was then due to play in the first round doubles with her opponent here, but they've witdrawn. Don't know whether that means an injury, precaution by Mulder, or argument!
FQR: COMPSON, Chloe (GBR) UNR [16yo] lost to Anastasiya MULDER (NED) UNR 6-4 0-6 5-7
Lovely straightforward win for Anna, and another (transition tour) point for her.
Alice will be pleased to get a point too having recently had 4pts for reaching a QF this time last year drop off. She will hope to go further this week too.

Taro was 2 points from serving it out to win 2 & 2, but was broken. But she broke back in the very next game to win 2 & 3
Is that her very first ranking point ?
