can this change beacuse there are many tourny's before hamburg??
Can what change, Andymonium? The entry list cannot change. What can change is that many of the competitors can withdraw for some reason or another - but we would need 13 to withdraw to let Tim into the main draw.
It is possible, I think a few of the top players elect to give this tournament a miss, and then there are injuries etc. Agassi is one certain withdrawal.
The only thing that can change because of the tournaments before Hamburg is seeding - but that ain't gonna affect Tim!
It is extremely unlikely that there will be another 5 players withdraw. Most players who withdraw tend to do so on the Thursday or Friday before an event. Only those who really want to play but know that they are striggling to make it wait until the Saturday.
Let's just hope that Andy gets a nice draw for once. A confidence boosting performance before the French Open would be very helpful.
i think the hamburg masters is one of the weakest tournies of the clay court season so hopefully he will get a better draw, even though nadal not playing we just hope he doesnt federer for the second round!!
There are another 2 withdrawals - Hanescu from the MD and Karlovic from ALT; still looking doubtful for Tim though - but he may just squeak in if there are another three last-minute withdrawals. I hear it on the grapevine that Roddick got a shoulder injury in his match yesterday and may pull out.
I hope to heaven that Andy gets a decent draw here and can pull back a few points. This last week cost him a net loss of 10.
