Im not really sure what to make of Murrays 2018 form. Promising glimpses but probably more disappointments with his continued recovery struggles. If the recovery continues at the same pace, much into 2019, I am not sure he will continue passed Wimbledon, thoughts? How did he look against Goffin?

Yes, the matches he has played have at times been pretty encouraging. The lack of backing up tournaments and getting any real sort of run of tournaments is a concern though it isn't clear at all how serious any issues are. It is possible he has just been being ultra cautious and generally accepting of getting in some play but that the beginning of 2019 will hopefully mark his proper comeback and so it is maybe that he doesn't want to put that at risk at all.

So I would be really waiting to see how he comes out in January. Like some others I certainly think he will want to play at least through 2020. He hasn't gone to such rehab efforts and worn his heart on his sleeve about just how much he has missed competitive tennis to give up easily unless he really does struggle in 2019.

Super for Joe

Ben McLachlan would be a rather good partner to have on a more regular basis.

Looks as if Joe will rise a couple of places to match his CH 40.

I guess at the moment machlachlan has struff as his preferred partner, be interesting to see what merry go round movements happen for 2019 as I suspect Joe is moving into the ranking space where he has a few options available to him.

Will be interesting. I'd say certainly with the leading pairs that they have actually remained pretty stable over the last couple of years.
