Although we only have one player in the week's top grade event, George Davis played this afternoon and made a great start, upsetting a seed with a better record than him in the lower grade events both have played mainly (George has slightly more experience of G2s and above though).
R1 (L32)
George Davis d. (5) Blaise Bicknell (USA) 1-6 6-2 6-4
George back up his win and lost his doubles to boot
R2
Andres Martin (USA) d. George Davis 6-4 6-1
Doesn't back up his win? Or are the scores the wrong way round?
Sorry I missed out 2 key words - 'failed to' between 'George' and 'back' which makes more sense, but kills any hope you may have had for George's progress
