Nope but he went pro as a junior, playing only the team tournament in his junior year, showing where his priorities lay, pretty certain he was ranked No 1 at various points in the season.

Yes so he will be a strong candidate for a wildcard for the US open from the USTA as college tennis becomes formally integrated into their developmental strategy for 18-22 yr olds. His junior CH is not dissimilar to Cams indeed he has been in the same college programme as Cam at TCU.
