US College Signings 2019 (and general college chat)

More than a few tweets about Paul's success on various tennis related accounts.

As has already been reported in his own personal thread, Paul has made it through to the final. Such a good effort though, it's worth mentioning it twice in two separate threads.

Nope but he went pro as a junior, playing only the team tournament in his junior year, showing where his priorities lay, pretty certain he was ranked No 1 at various points in the season.

I am sure Jaggy will be able to give you a run down of the doubles champions!

Delighted for Paul - he has played Borges twice in the last few months and lost in 3 sets both times. Hopefully will Get the win this time.

I guess there will be no WC into the US Open since neither of the finalists is American...... wondering who they will award it to?

Yes so he will be a strong candidate for a wildcard for the US open from the USTA as college tennis becomes formally integrated into their developmental strategy for 18-22 yr olds. His junior CH is not dissimilar to Cams indeed he has been in the same college programme as Cam at TCU.

Paul Jubb ends Nuno Borges singles' streak of 31 wins (6-3, 7-6) and he is new 2019 NCAA individual champion. It's the end of Nuno's great College career, broking all the records of MSU
