Bit of a missed opportunity there. Hev went 30-0 up and at 30-15 PP got the rub of the green with the net. Hev then hit 2 feeble shots into the net as PP held to 30.

Watson was in another good position on the PP serve there, but the Frenchwoman hangs on *3-4

I've got a bad feeling Heather will get broken within the next 2 games and Parmentier will unfortunately advance.

So, frustrating. Lost it to 5 on the tie break. Had *5-4 as well, but lost both points on serve.

Awful when you're watching a stream for nearly 3 hours of a close but winnable match and it goes the wrong way. Good week overall and back in the top 100, but a big opportunity missed here for a first GB WTA title for a long long time.

Unlucky for Heather - PP served really well at the key moments. Heather also served well, however. An exceptional week, still, by the year's standards :)
