Pity. As I say no idea of the overall standard.

Yes, neither came here in great form and there were multiple breaks. But multiple breaks do not define a poor or necessarily messy match, most particularly a poor women's match and there were few DFs. In fact I think just 3* in total ( there were more aces ) so games weren't being given away in any sort of DF frenzy though often won by the returner.

* indeed just 3 DFs as against 6 aces as I check the ITF site, having finally realised why I couldn't see the Vancouver live score ( and was relying on bet365 ). Go back a day to Sunday! And the first serve in %s were not too bad at 59% and 63%.
