Thanks for looking. I can find a report often on tennis forums for the higher ranked players, but nothing for Cam this time. It's just weird, Cam has been palying so well, and the guy he played is 27, so not an up and coming youngster.
But he's the guy that Andy Murray had an extremely long +3 hr match after midnight in DC, and then withdrew after that. So his current form isn't too shabby at the moment, even though he lost in Toronto qualifying, probably because he was still recovering from that match himself.

I didn't realise that. Well that makes me more relaxed about Cam's form then.

Cam has to lose a bit more to be concerned about form. He did just reach SF in Los Cabos.
Right Kyle. When I wake up tomorrow morning I want to see you have won. I don't care if it's in 2 or 3 sets or if you have to win ugly - whatever it takes.
Could have been even more comprehensive as Kyle was broken when serving for a 2nd set bagel, but I will take this result anyway. Tiafoe or Shapovalov next.
If Kyle can get through R2, his likely opponent would have been Nadal, but the BBC are reporting the Nadal has now withdrawn. The draw sheet has not yet been updated but I expect some lucky loser is going to get a Bye straight into R2.
We should also note that Raonic is in that section of the draw and would be Kyle's most likely R3 opponent, so it's not going to be easy anyway.
5.... 3-2 Shapovalov but 1 retirement (US Open) in that 3 and a default (DC) in Kyles 2 all the rest have gone to three sets! A match to look forward to and why I keep watching Tennis
