Well, no two ways about it, they, and Emily in particular, were really bad. Can't play that woeful again. For two college players at strong rosters, with lots of doubles experience, you wouldn't recognise it in Arbuthnott & Danilina thus far. Emily's serve is being punished.
I see they do have an early break in the second and have/had a break point to go 3-1 up (deuce now). A bit more competitive at least and better news for the singles finalists.
I can't see it as I can't get those streams to work, but you'd think if it was over not much after 12:00 then a fair few might leave before the final at 2 which would be a bit of a shame.

They're better, but not any where near good. Danilina served a DF where both deliveries landed outside the tramlines.
They've conceded their early advantage, losing 3 games straight in which Emily hardly touched the ball, as the oppoonents just hit at Danilina over and over.

Emily's best game of the match - a good sharp cut off at the net crossing, a nice change of direction pass DTL - another good intervention with two sahrp volleys. Helps the team to a break, and they'll serve for the set.
Quite a few rallies of attrition between Danilina & Grammatikopoulou, which the Greek is getting by far the better of.
