Kiick has just beaten Han 6-2, 6-3 - that's a generous draw and the opponent I was wanting to Dart, so that's who Katie will face next. Allie has generally been in good form these past few months but obviously a very winnable match and Katie should start out favourite.
Good news that it's over reasonably quickly though as that's the court that Harriet is on so it's just one men's match and then Harriet, so you're probably looking at around 10.30ish.
An incredible result from Katie It lifts her live ranking up to 113 now and if she does manage to win her next match then she will be 103-5 and just one win away from the top 100. Her rise over the last couple of months has been unbelievably fast and impressive; the growth in her confidence and quality of her performances near Remember it was only 3 months back in April when Annie K thought she had only two players she could use for all three Fed Cup matches in Japan...
Katie's obviously in such a good place with her tennis at the moment it will be very interesting to see how the match against Kiich goes, who - as Peter says - beat her easily, twice, last year.
