Yeah, this seems promising, no matter what happens.
The serving stats are particularly good.
Freya's rather like Naomi in that regard - if the serve isn't working, she might as well not bother; she's got decent groundshots too but rather sometimes dodgy movement and shot selection so she really needs that serve to be there.
And that was the thing about Wimbly qualis - although she lost 3 & 3 to player who is now WTA 90, Freya's service games were very respectable, and she had some real power there, the other girl wasn't walking it.
C'mon, Freya.
Add: she's now just served a game that has massacred her stats - but she won it anyway so who cares.....

Difficult to know what to make of it all, though clearly overall a very decent looking scoreline against a top 200 ranked 21 yo on the up. and a great second set. Did seem ever since CD first commented on her serve that she then spent much of the rest of the match being reasonably competitive without her serve seeming to be helping that much. Though yes it ultimately looked to hold her back too much and oh to have kept good serving stats.
