Nadja Gilchrist, whom Jodie lost to, is the Bath based player who's had an excellent year thus far. At the beginning of the year she was unranked, now her live rank is 607, and she only just missed out on seeing in the qualifier by two places (8th seed was 614). Jodie was unlucky to draw her first up in a 60k qualifier.

Hanatani has just broken Leduc (Freya's conqueror last week) and is serving for the match now - Freya's match follows that on Centre Court

Bath based Gilchrist is a set and a break (*2-1) up in her match and Sam will follow that one.
