Anton seems to have some lovely shots and creativity. But he seems to be trying to overplay it at the moment. Mu now 5-2 up.
Hes now settled down a bit and breaks back with a more solid game. 5-4. But 17 unforced errors and 4 double faults also tells the tale a bit. But 15 winners too! Back on serve 5-5.

thought I could get through this tournament without having to listen to the endless positivity of David Mercer's commentary but no dice unfortunately
Cant really disagree with what hes saying though. Anton just not playing the percentage shots enough. As he says hes playing the 1/10 shot too often rather than the 9/10 chance shot. For example, where he goes to force the volley rather than simply playing it into the empty court. Anton now 4-0 down.
Jack Draper playing well against Musetti. Just broke back after a nervous first service game where he was broken. Now 5-5. Musetti quite a tough opponent though.
Theyre both doing well at this stage of such a big tournament at their age. Its a really absorbing match, momentum going from one player to another. Jack takes the second set. The first couple of games in the final set could be crucial.
Jack breaks Musetti to love and leads 2-0 in the final set. Some great character shown to come back from losing his serve in the very first game of the match.
Great win by Jack. Seems a lot less combustible than Anton on today's evidence
I like that even at a young age he seems to be able to hit the loopy hooked forehand to get himself out of trouble, but also flatten it out to hit winners when he is on the front foot. I always felt Liam B gave up the latter, which he had a lot of success in the juniors with, in pursuit of the former
