Well it's a shame but it's better to not come back early before her body is ready and there will be other Wimbledon's.

I see Katie B is on the Landisville W60 entry list for 5th August which is great to see. Her new ranking of 175 will see her in quals (although she may just about get in directly) and it's a very strong field as there are no other North American ITFs running simultaneously. Naiktha is MDO so has no chance, although she may have wanted to play elsewhere anyway. Katie Swan's new ranking of 258 sees her currently well out of qualifying and even with the automatic withdrawals next Tuesday and those subsequent individual withdrawals after, it'll be hard for her to sneak in. Harriet is in the main draw.

Ah Landisville - The scene of the Laura Robson double bagel final. Oh, how we thought that was the start of the comeback.
Quals might be good for Kaie anyway given the timeout since she last played.

Eek Landisville - Worry and match retirement for Gabi Taylor in the heat (2018). Good luck for Katie Boulter, and hopefully conditions not so hot.

Katie withdrew from Landisville and also Vancouver the following the week.  Still seems to be entered for Concord the same week as Vancouver.

Hmm I hope Katie is able to return soon - but fully fit again.

Shame. I was thinking about this the other day, how would PR affect Katie? It's usually inactivity for 6+ months and then you can use the ranking you were at where you last played. Katie hasn't played a WTA/ITF match since Miami quals on the 18th of March, that'll be 6 months in mid September, however, she obviouly played Fed Cup in late April, so that could be a snag, and would push it back until the end of October, which I suspect will be the cut off - she also signed up for RG, obviously to collect the money, but she was down to face Vekic and then withdrew, so not sure if that affects things - if you type 'Katie Boulter 2019' into Google then that fixture does show up. If it was mid September, then although she'd miss US Open quals (which she might anyway if she's withdrawing from the week before), then it might be best to hold fire and use the PR of 84.

It obviously depends how she is feeling, and it be a case of Concord was just a little bit too soon and the next week or two she will be ready, but if she is still a fair way off, holding off until January and definitely getting that PR which she could use into the likes of Hobart, Auckland (or quals for the 2 Aussie Premiers), and then of course the Aussie Open, might not be the worst idea in the world.

She's also entered in three W25's for the same week. Have to check the lists again after Tuesday's deadline.

Was Katie in qualifying for the US Open? She  sounds  like she might be better off if she doesn't rush back and takes advantage of a PR for the start of 2020. It's not been a very good year for our players with Jodie as well and wondering what has happened to Gabi and Emma Raducanu since she finished her exams.

Katy D as well. It's becoming so common for some of our top players just to disappear for a while, that their long absences go unremarked...

Katy D made a comment on Instagram last month about no dancing for 7 months which makes me wonder if shes out injured/had surgery

I took that at the time as being some kind of cryptic message about her current feelings, but perhaps it was literal and she's out for a significant amount of time. Whichever it is, it didn't sound too positive, so good luck to her.
