Good fight from Katy and Harriet, but they go out 2 & 4 to the No 2 seeds. They were a break up in the second set, but were pulled back to 2-2, and then lost the last two games.
After putting out the conquerors of Anna and Xenia so comfortably in the last round, Heather and Tatjana now come up against the pair that beat Naomi and Asia in the first round and beat the 7th seeds, Chan and Yang, in the last round.

Here's hoping Ostapenko is tired playing singles and doubles!
Ostapenko has a real chance to get to the singles finals and given the women play back to back matches tomorrow and Tuesday how much effort will see want to put into doubles?.... assuming she wins her singles match tomorrow

Ostapenko did indeed win through to the quarters in the singles. Hopefully, that will benefit Hev as you suggest.
