Great win for Barnett. 6-2 5-7 6-3, 92-80 points overall.

Possibly the London based Georgian next - if only EWS could have saw that out then we have have had another potential all GB FQR. Still, she's beat the #1 seed so will still fancy her chances.

She was very poor serving in the second set but sorted it out very well in the decider.

Good to hear. Are you there for the full day?

Got there for the last few points of Edens win.Have seen the action since then. Its really hot courtside. So not sure how long I will be here today. My wife is volunteering today tomorrow and Wednesday so should be here for some of each of those days.

No disgrace for Louise Holtum thus far, but she is trailing:

(2) Maria Sanchez USA 6-3 *1-1 Louise Holtum GBR

She's just lost 6-3 6-2.She played well but was just outgunned by the bigger better more powerful player. What didn't help was three dfs in a row at 1-2 in the second set.

Fantastic win for Alicia against a player who took Katie B very close last week!

Bolkvadze has won a lot of matches this year, but has to be seen as winnable after today. Well done alicia :)

Thrilled for Lissey B.

She was very close to beating Burrell last week but couldn't quite see it through - I was worried the same thing would happen here.

Lovely to see it didn't.

Bit of a shame to see Emma R and Harriet drawn together. But hey....

Given that Kumkhum has - seemingly - had no practice of grass this is the time, if any, for someone to turn her over so go, Sam.

So who do you think is the better prospect out of Allen and Richardson and who would you expect to win tomorrow?

I would expect Eden to win, but when Vic is playing well she is pretty decent.

Victoria is just 17, Eden will be 20 in Sept. Wonderful prospect as Victoria appears to be I'd expect Eden's greater age and experience, especially recently at college in the US, where she seems to have been really flourishing, to make a difference. But this is grass, and so maybe a leveller for both too, if this is their first tournament on it this year...

£8 to get in for what is effectively final qualifying and doubles.
