Yes pity for Ola, the second break yesterday evening spoiled the momentum she had then. And unfortunately with this loss she loses her ranking too. Now has 3 months to regain a point and her ranking.
Good to see Victoria and Eden both with 4 points now, but even with these great performances they still both need another 2 wins to pick up a WTA ranking themselves. (And since they're playing each other in the FQR, one of them will also score 6 pts, but still 4 short of the 10 needed...)

(1)Jennifer Brady (USA) v Vitalia Diatchenko (RUS) Marie Bouzkova (CZE) v (wc)Emily Appleton (GBR) Dayana Yastremska (UKR) v Claire Liu (USA) (6)Evgeniya Rodina (RUS) v Maryna Zanevska (BEL)
(3)Viktorija Golubic (SUI) v Elitsa Kostova (BUL) Tereza Smitkova (CZE) v Q (wc)Sarah Beth Grey (GBR) v Q (7)Naomi Broady (GBR) v Ons Jabeur (TUN)
(5)Sara Sorribes Tormo (ESP) v Q Jamie Loeb (USA) v Q Carol Zhao (CAN) v Mayo Hibi (JPN) (4)Nicole Gibbs (USA) v Katy Dunne (GBR)
(8)Jasmine Paolini (ITA) v Karolina Muchova (CZE) Alexandra Cadantu (ROU) v Ysaline Bonaventure (BEL) (wc)Emma Raducanu (GBR) v Harriet Dart (GBR) (2)Luksika Kumkhum (THA) v (wc)Samantha Murray (GBR)
So Eden/Vicki vs Beth, Smitkova, Sorribes Torres or Loeb. I wouldn't mind them drawing Beth to be honest and any of them would be in with a decent chance of progressing to the next round where hopefully they would play Naomi.
Interesting match between Emma R and Harriet. Tough draws for Sam and Katy, the latter may well need a good run here for a MDWC at Wimbledon.
Hmm, Emma, Harriet and Sam sharing that bottom section with the #2 seed.
Still Harriet's form has been very good if maybe Emma is not the 'hiding to nothing' draw she would have preferred. That will be interesting. Fancy the 'old stager' will be too good though.
Worth considering that only the top 2 seeds here have entry to Wimbledon, so if this is won by anyone other than those 2 or a Brit, then there could be a WC opening for a non Brit. You'd obviously still want Harriet/Emma (and Sam) to beat Kumkhum even if they were to get knocked out in the QF or SF, but I suppose one tiny positive if Luksika was to put out 2 or 3 Brits, then she could could keep a potential wildcard in-house which might be to Katy's benefit.
The doubles draw is out now too, and that also has some interesting permutations. (Just to echo the addict )
Naomi Broady/ Asia Muhammad (GBR/USA) [1] vs Tara Moore/ Conny Perrin (GBR/USA). That means Tara is playing singles in one tournament this week and doubles in another, which I didn't know was possible before this - I know you can't play singles in two, but did not know you could split between singles and doubles
Emily Webley-Smith/ Maryna Zanevska (GBR/BEL) vs Sophie Chang/ Alexandra Mueller (USA/USA). Yet another partner for EWS. Ankita is also playing this week with another partner; Maryna does have a handy doubles ranking of 113 however.
Alicia Barnett/ Laura Sainsbury (GBR/GBR) vs Jamie Loeb/ An-Sophie Mestach (USA/BEL) [3]
Sarah Beth Grey/ Olivia Nicholls (GBR/GBR) vs Naiktha Bains/ Abigail Tere-Apisah (AUS/PNG). Abigail is another person playing singles in one tournament and doubles in another this week. A better draw for Beth and Olivia though.
Emily Appleton/ Samantha Murray (GBR/GBR) vs Ingrid Neel/ Ankita Raina (USA/IND)
Harriet Dart/ Katy Dunne (GBR/GBR) vs Ysaline Bonaventure/ Sara Sorribes Tormo (BEL/ESP)

Great win for Barnett. 6-2 5-7 6-3, 92-80 points overall.
Possibly the London based Georgian next - if only EWS could have saw that out then we have have had another potential all GB FQR. Still, she's beat the #1 seed so will still fancy her chances.

She was very poor serving in the second set but sorted it out very well in the decider.
