Thanks SC. It looks like 8 out of the 22 played in Glasgow. Many of the new entries are Australian, USA or south Africa. No doubt landing in the UK for the grass and a competition outing to get them accustomed to UK soil, if not quite grass.

Still no news of the wild cards, but according to seagull's entry lists thread for this week, Ed Corrie, Lloyd Glasspool & Dino should be in qualies.

I'm a bit baffled by this event.

It's the middle of may. WHy are they hosting an indoor hard event? Most players are deep into the clay season. Would make more sense to have this in Feb o sep-Nov.

 It was aimed at getting Andy Murray and Dan Evans match practice before the grass season.

No main draw wildcard for Dan.

The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) today announced that James Ward, Edward Corrie, Lloyd Glasspool and Luke Bambridge have been awarded main draw wild cards for the inaugural Loughborough Trophy, the second of two new ATP Challenger Tour events on the British Tennis calendar.

James Ward, continues on his road to recovery from last years knee surgery, and along with Edward Corrie and Lloyd Glasspool will join main draw players including Lukas Lacko who moved back into the ATP Top 100 at No.99 following his recent win at the Glasgow Trophy.

Luke Bambridge who grew up twenty minutes away from Loughborough will return to the Loughborough Tennis Centre where he trained as a junior and comes into the event off the back of a tournament win in doubles at the Savannah ATP Challenger in the USA. The 23 year old is looking forward to playing on home soil:

It means alot to me to be playing back home and that my parents can come and watch and not have to watch on live stream. Im really grateful to Leon and the LTA for the opportunity and Im really looking forward to playing back at home.

Not surprised Dan hasn't got a MDWC here to be honest. Just because they'll be saving them for him for the grass season.
