Yes, a schooling for Harriet today by the looks of it but a great win in Q1 :D
Onwards and upwards towards 131 now please :)

Aww, the tennis games scoring system can be ruthless.

In Harriet's 6 service games she only lost them cumulatively 24 points to 37. So she's lost 5 of these games by 2 points and the other one to 15 and extended them overall enough that she has averaged 4 points a service game whilst saving 10 out of 16 BPs. I see that her very first service game was particularly long.

Lost her return games 12 points to 28 for an overall 36 points to 65. So, of course very decisively beaten but pity it ended a double bagel.

A great win for Harriet and Ayla Aksu in the dubs, taking out the second seeds 10-7 in the MTB. Well done girls.

Decent week for Harriet, not only in points, but also prize money. Earned nearly 2k already.

Cracking win
I think all success at WTA level builds the belief that you do, or could, eventually, belong there.

Very nice

Harriet moving her CH up in both singles and doubles. On Monday she will be singles GB #6 ( live rank 214 ) and doubles GB #7 at least ( live rank 196 ) whilst getting WTA experience and wins and some decent reward.

They prevail!
6-2 4-6 [10-7]

Harriet & Ayla attempt to match them now (albeit they're already a round ahead)
