If they are both willing and able, maybe this is a partnership to stick with for a while? Xenia has WTA titles, and about the same level in her career as Anna. We'll see. Stability would be good for Anna's continued prospects. It's hard to make a peripatetic doubles living as an ad hoc player.

Yes, I thought this might be a partnership worth sticking with for a while... but as just noted on a new thread, Anna is teaming with her third different person in three tournaments next week in Morocco...

It was a good final, too. At the end you could see a somewhat cathartic purge for Parmentier; all those moments of self-doubt, melting away in vindication.

Harriet's 12 points ( net 10 ) added here have taken her to a CH 215. She would otherwise have been at WR 223.

With Naomi, Gabi and Katie B certain to be on the French Open qualifying list coming out in the next few days it puts Harriet top of our lowish 200s threesome. Harriet WR 215, Laura WR 222 and Katy D WR 225.

The initial list may go down just to about WR 200 but it will be interesting how Harriet in particular sits in the alts.

Harriet also has a big new doubles CH 198.

Anna moves up a place to match her doubles CH 47.
