Really well done to all of them. Would be fantastic if they could go one stage further...

Amazing result. Talia has lots of potential in my opinion and i think her game translates really well to the adults

Talia is certainly the one who seems to be ignoring juniors pretty much, and focusing very strongly on adults

Our junior tally goes up another notch as Gigi makes the semis in the doubles too in Tunisia:

QF:- Alice Battesti (FRA) / Georgina Hays (GBR) UNR (UNR+UNR) def Jasna Kaltak (SWE) / Beatrice Laura Pirtac (IRL) UNR (UNR+1430) 6-1 6-0

Congrats to Georgina.  I've never seen her play.  I believe she lives in France?

Good stuff. Just the one point though for her singles R1 win.

Yes. Born in New Zealand, moved to France when she was 2.

In the way some regionals seem to attract world ranking points, do junior nationals attract anything?

With two 25ks this week at Nottingham (for men and women), there will be lots of chances for our juniors to show their colours on the adult stage.

And it's gets off to a flying start with:

QR1: (qWC) Fabio Nestola (born 2005) UNR defeated (q5) Luca Castelnuovo (SUI) WR 975 by 6-3 1-6 [10-4]
