GB Player of the Month

As of writing we have 21 entrants lined up across mens, womens, juniors singles and doubles events across the world - some are in doubles and singles,  will knock them off the list as they fall this week, will any force themselves onto our final PoM list of the month, in just 3 days time - just 4 left in seniors play (Max on court as I write, Charles loater) and then a few juniors left with the Grade A event in Florida taking pride of place.

Remember if any of these players catch your eye this week, you can nominate player of the month nominees before Sunday evening this week. Unless all are out before then, in which case Ill ask for names to be confirmed earlier in the week.

Good to see Heather (singles and doubles), Billy H. and Paul Jubb getting to Thursday. 22 other players still going somewhere around the world in ITF Mens and Juniors, so hopeful that one of those 22 will do enough to add them our PoM nominations list over the course of the week.

Suspect the other 22 players will deplete somewhat as today progresses though...

OK. I know I am biased. But stick Billy in there for taking out a CH ranking scalp today.

We have a very skewed 7 males and 2 females on the list so far, Im hoping heather breaks through and maybe one of the junior girls can also get on to the list. In the juniors we have plenty of players still involved, including Matilda in singles at orange Bowl and Jack P-J as well as doubles there. Also Istanbul, harare and Cape Town has plenty of action stil.

We have two very junior girls on the list already. That's not the problem.

worth noting, I have no intention of keeping track like this in future, it is just the last week of the last PoM poll and thus last chance to also reach Player of Season, so i am taking more interest than is probably due!

Yes Jon, you have work to do and a family to socialise with.

So what better excuse to avoid these than providing such an unrivalled Brits progress service

Ouch. Heather did win her doubles and is now Brit no.1 in doubles. Players have been nominated for more minor things than this (in my opinion), so am putting in a nomination for Heather.

So there's another woman on the list.
