WC 14th December entries predictably thin although a smattering. So I will stick with planned timetable elsewhere and post this period PoM polls Sunday 13th.

Tend to agree, but this years 15ks are so last years 25ks!

That body of work grows as Hep moves into the winners circle in Israel to follow up her ru spot last week. Well done to her!

Felix and Lloyd still standing this week. Both already nominated. Charles broom in doubles still, but ditto. David Fox standing out as the only pro player not on the list, but clearly hes got a lot of work to do this week!

Felix G and Lloyd G both doing a decent job this week of building on their months work to date. Can Charles B do similar later and put the pressure on the others?

proving to be a month where I reckon anyone can take the prize. Hard to see a clear favourite ! Excellent !

I am looking at this months nominees and , far from being a month that was a bookmark at the end of the season, it is turning out to have some of the most interesting nominees so far - the standout performances may be thin overall but there are in fact enough to make this quite an interesting vote in a weeks time. And we have a week to come with the Orange Bowl, Dubai WTA and a few ITF events where we may see a nominee or two come through

For the final week of the final Pom poll, all the players have everything to play for , assuming of course that they care!

Dubai - Heather Watson and Jodie Burrage (main draw ) . Heather also still in doubles
Madrid - Emilie Lindh (main draw)

Men

Santa Domingo - David Fox, Charles Broom (qualies)
Torello -Toby Martin (main draw), Max Andrews, Patrick Foley, Sacha Modica, (qualies ). Foley and Modica also in doubles as 4th seeds
Antalya - Paul Jubb (MD) and Billy Harris, (qualies)

And then we have 8 juniors in Orange Bowl main draw and some other lower rated junior events as well.

And some of the above seniors and juniors will play doubles as well, of course.

An excellent week for any of them could see them into our last PoM poll of the year and maybe get a chance to make the Player of the Season poll as well.
