I'm fairly sure I read somewhere that it is happening, but I can't find it at the moment!
Edit - I've just found a tweet from Alfie Hewett, saying it starts on Weds.

ah, ok, cool. It has a drop down on the website for a draw (mens and womens wheelchair singles and doubles and quad singles) but then links a pdf for the draw which doesnt appear to be attached yet, so I wondered if it had been dropped...
Doesn't seem as significant now that grand slam and tour tennis are with us, but I'll nominate Eliz Maloney for winning the recent BT event last including a couple of wins where she wasn't the favourite.
A reminder that the month counts all events starting in that month, although we made an exception for the french open which clearly was in october largely!
So after this week, we have action from WC 12th, wc 19th and wc 26th.
ATP tour events in St. Petersburg, Cologne, Sardinia, Antwerp, Cologne again, Vienna, Kazakhstan; Wta in Ostrava; ATP Challenger in Alicante, Lisbon, Istanbul, Ismaning, Hamburg and Marbella. And ITF action. So plenty around to enable some nominations to come through.

In ITF womens we have 17 more ITF events in October on their calendar (really?), 24 November and 4 in December. WTA also showing Limoges as on in December, is that correct?
Mens ITF, we have 14 more in October, 34 in November and 4 in December. ATP has Paris,Sofia and London Tour Finals in November, 5 Challenger events in November.
So November looks busy, December quiet

Don't hold your breath Jon. We'll be lucky to get more than 3 or 4 into any of the women's ITF events. Even Jodie is struggling to make the qualifying cuts at W25 right now.

Yeah, I've seen your entry posts , presumably because theres no higher level events, it's all pushed down?
Will there really be 17 more itf events this month though?!
In the wheelchair events, we have Hewett, Lapthorne, Hewett and Reid, and Whiley + in semifinal action. In juniors, Fery and Gill are in qf doubles action.
It's pretty thin for the rest of October apart from the last week, and there have been some cancellations in November - I suspect that there will be more cancelled in the second half of November as time goes on.
I'm seeing a lot of higher ranked players in the W25 tournaments, so it looks as everyone is looking to play wherever they can get in - the W80 tournament coming up in the US on 19th October has 19 players on the list inside the top 150, with five top 100 players heading the field.

Ooh, thanks Ace!
So the October list is:
Eliz Maloney.
Just promoting this before it gets lost behind my twaddle
Just to say, Alfie and Gordon have won another slam, in France, and add to the US title. Alfie is also in the singles final, I suggest we wait and see how that goes and anyone who thinks he or they are deserving of a nomination can make one - I think a singles and doubles winner (ie possibly Alfie) would trump a winning doubles pair (Alfie and Gordon) to the nomination, but maybe a losing finalist wouldnt (last month Alfie lost in the singles final and the nomination was therefore Alfie and Gordon as a pair).
Hope that makes sense, I would like to say though that one way or another their should be one nomination at least!

I nominate the doubles pairing of Alfie and Gordon

Hi Cya - which is fine, just to say, we should have a debate if Alfie wins the singles...we could have both Alfie in singls and Alfie and gordon in doubles nominated, but the voting process wont work well...he will possibly end up with split votes! However, maybe I can make it work by some draw subterfuge!!! If I keep them apart in the groups stage of the poll, the semis, then it would probably work its way to a natural end!
Lets see as, per US Open, it may not transpire anyway!
So, October nominations are:
Eliz Maloney
Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid
