I've not been following closely this week, with a week and a halbto go in the month, remember to shout if any player catches your eye to add to our list of September nominees.

Just checking, in womens play we still have Jo, Fran, Matilda and Freya in play this week. Anyone else?

And just Ryan P in mens action still?

Freya is only in doubles. If you're counting that, Sam is still in doubles too.

I always count doubles! I had missed Sam when reading through the various threads, hard to keep up with multiple events!

Sam indeed is now into the final of the France 80K doubles albeit with a retirement in the SF.

I give you two for the price of one.

I nominate Sam Murray for her France 80K doubles title, and

I nominate Matilda Mutavdzic for reaching the final ( and hopefully going on to win ) her Spain 10K, beating the super young Andorran Australian junior champion and JWR 1 in the SF.

You beat me to it - was just about to nominate both too. Matilda especially will be a strong contender as she has just won her final for her first ITF title as well as being WTA ranked for the first time.

A reminder that we have only til the end of the week left in this month. A few ITF events, an ATP event and Challenger, and qualifying for the French Open. My view is that the French qualies sit firmly in September and therefore if anyone (in essence, Liam, Harriet or Sam) has a week in that event that is meaningful it should be included in our thinking or nominations for this month. Obviously, the main draw events will be in October.

So if anyone catches your eye this week, please nominate here by the end of the week (Sunday evening). With 11 plus nominees we will do the poll with semis and a final as per the last couple of months.

remembering that nominations close this weekend; all our men are at of Hamburgh, but Liam doing well in French qualies, winning two matches so far is pretty impressive.

Not sure if any others, womens or mens doing well as not following too closely, but please add any nominations here.

Get Liam in there. No other Brits (on the men's side at least) seem to be winning any matches on clay at the moment.
